As we approach the party season, no wardrobe is complete without a “little black dress” (or a LBD).
Outfit of the day: Little black dress
The Little Black Dress (LBD) never goes out of fashion and is the simplest, most foolproof way to select your outfit whether you’re going to a semi-formal, formal event or a night on the town!
The simplicity of the colour palette enables you to experiment with glamorous fabrics, such as lace, mesh, silk and crushed velvet, as well as with the cut of the outfit from sexy side-slits to elegant long dresses. And if all this isn’t enough to tempt you to try this look it’s also very slimming!
Today I’m wearing this dress from “The Kooples“ (which incorporates leather, mesh and velvet), accessorised only with gold jewellery and killer heels!.

For the polyvore set on the right, the stockists are:
Dress: Christopher Kane: available here.

Earrings : Karen Kane
Watch and bracelet set : Mickael Kors
Powder by Gucci, lipstick by Burberry and nail varnish by Dior.

As much as I love wearing black, I don’t own a LBD. I love the different textures and cut outs of your dress!
Thank you for being a part of TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you soon!

Thank you 🙂
I have never been an LBD kind of gal, I have no more than 5 pieces of black in my wardrobe. However, this year I have been thinking about getting myself an LBD and I think you just convinced me…thank you ?

Thank you Lacey. I think I’m the opposite – my wardrobe has a great deal of black in it! I do love an LBD though! Let me know if you buy one 🙂
