Finding a great last-minute holiday offer is somewhat like having a winning lottery ticket, so to help you we’ve put together our tips for finding the best last-minute holiday destinations.
Last-minute offers can help you save a significant amount of money, and you might even discover something you’ve never thought would be possible. There is also that amazing feeling of spontaneity you get when you book a last-minute flight to one of your dream destinations.
With so many unforgettable places to see and visit, it can be quite challenging to pick just one location to visit. We did some digging around, and we’ve come up with this short guide through some of the most memorable last-minute holiday destinations. Whether you’re a fan of white sandy beaches, turquoise sea, amazing hiking trails, or you prefer great resorts, touristic attractions and memorable places; there is a destination that’s perfect for you.
Last-minute offers pop up almost every day, and their prices vary a lot. That’s why you need to know certain things before you decide to book the tickets. If you’re travelling alone and you have a flexible schedule, meaning that your departure and return dates are not fixed, you can save up to 75% of the price for the arrangement by booking a last-minute offer.
However, if you’re travelling with your family, or just with your partner, you should consider booking a last-minute holiday at least three to four weeks before you plan to depart. This way you can arrange all the necessities like aeroplane seating, accommodations, and various other things.
Do your homework, and you will find a virtually endless sea of last-minute deals online. So, let’s focus on, by our opinion, some of the best last-minute holiday destinations on offer.
The Best Last-Minute Holiday Destinations to Consider
Mallorca, Spain
The biggest of Balearic Islands, Mallorca is located in the Balearic Sea, by Spain’s east coast. This beautiful island is absolutely stunning in every possible way, with an abundance of amazing small hotels and villas all over the coast, but with a touch of tradition and class. Filled with absolutely stunning sights from the Tramuntana Mountain Range at the west of the island, through unbelievable low-key resorts of Port de Pollensa at the north, and all the way to the middle of the island where you can find amazing little market cities like Algaida, Porreres and Sineu.
Whether you’re going by yourself, or you’re taking your family on a last-minute holiday to this beautiful island, there are lots of amazing things you can do. Mallorca is known for horse riding, so if you’re looking for equestrian adventure, you should look up some of the amazing horse ranches and racetracks. Mallorca is also covered in amazing cycling and trekking tracks if you’re looking for a more dynamic holiday.
It would be wrong not to mention the rising wave of authentic Mallorcan cuisine, with a number of excellent chefs and amazing restaurants all over the island. If you get the opportunity to grab the last-minute offer for Mallorca – do it without hesitation.

Tasmania, Australia
Sadly, Tasmania is one of the least visited parts of Australia. This island is located to the south-east of the Australian shore, and it’s an absolute eye-candy. From a beautiful mixture of rivers, valleys, caves, and farmhouses, but also with some unbelievable mountain ranges and hiking tracks, Tasmania is one of the world’s hidden gems.
If you like hiking and trekking, there are few places in the world as rich with things to see as Tasmania. From stunning tracks of Mt. Wellington, through unforgettable views you can find while hiking through Freycinet National Park, Tasmania has a lot to offer to a hiking enthusiast. If you’re looking for a hiking adventure of a lifetime, consider looking for 3 Capes Walk bookings, and experience one of the best trekking trails in all Australia.

Saint Lucia
When you’re dreaming of a Caribbean holiday, it can sometimes be hard to decide what you would love the most about it. Whether it’s the white sand and crystal clear sea, or it’s the nightlife and adventure these islands can provide, visiting Caribbean islands is a unique experience, even if you have visited them before.
One of the best last-minute holiday destinations, if you’re looking for a little bit of everything, is definitely Saint Lucia.
From the landing, you start realizing why this island is one of the most photographed places in the world. Circling around two jagged volcanic peaks before you land reveals how exciting this little island can really be.
It offers some of the most popular beaches in the world, surrounded by vast forests. With so many amazing resorts, restaurants, nightclubs and festivals all around, you might forget about the sea, but you shouldn’t. There are some amazing diving spots all around the island, with diving schools and diving trips. You can even go on night dives and you can even get to see Turtle Reef, named by hawksbill and green turtles that usually feed here.
There are some amazing hiking trails through rainforests and some breathtaking mountain ranges. If you want to experience the best of Caribbean, try to find a last-minute holiday offer for Santa Lucia. You will thank us later.
Don’t get discouraged, look for other people’s experiences, focus on what you would really want, and you will be packing your bags for one of the best last-minute holiday destinations really soon.
If you’re looking for accommodation then this is a great site for all destinations.

I’d have to say Australia would be really enticing if it came up as last minute for me…though dragging 5 people, some being young may be challenging but I would love to go.
